AMA Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Jelexza J. Vélez Gaetán, M.D., to the team. Dr. Vélez is board-certified in family medicine and has been serving the Tampa Bay Area for five years as a family practitioner.
Dr. Vélez attended Medical School in Puerto Rico at Universidad Central del Caribe where she received her Doctor of Medicine. She then went on to complete a family medicine residency at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine RCM.
Dr. Vélez is passionate about promoting prevention and well-being with her patients, particularly with senior citizens. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
